The Infamous Masterson’s , located in the heart of Moonee Ponds , markets itself as a trendy “hipster” hangout , but my recent visit at this establishment resulted in an experience I’d rather forget . While the bar may present a friendly façade, what I experienced behind its walls was appalling and beyond comprehension .
The State of the Venue : Unhygienic and Abandoned
From the moment I entered , it was apparent that hygiene was not a priority at this bar . The ground was covered in grime , and a overpowering stench of old alcohol and neglected washrooms permeated the entire venue . Smelling a mixture of human waste, putrefaction and a sickly smell.
